选择D项.study之所以用“Ving”形式,是因为他们人还在学校,还未毕业,也就是说,从很长的时间角度来说,他们还要在此校学习,这段时间他们“正在学”,这也可视为there are句型的一个特点,就是there are sb doing sth (at sp).后一空“whom”是定语中的关系副词,因为是逗号,所以逗号后是定语成份,而them是不能作关系代词或关系副词的.若逗号改成句号就是两个句子,这时当然要用them了,后一个空只须你搞懂关系副词、关系代词有那些就OK了.
