The line chart gives data about the price of oil per barrel in US dollar from 1995 with predictions to 2015.
As can be seen from the line chart given, the oil prices fluctuated during these 20 years. To be more exact, the oil price experienced a slight rise from 20 US dollars in 1995 to about 25 US dollars in 1998. Then, The price decreased to around 15 US dollars per barrel in 2000. From this point onwards, the prices increased sharply until 2010, which reached 120 US dollars. After that, it is predicted that the price will continue to rise, but not as dramatic, and will get to about 130 US dollars per barrel in 2015, which is about six times the price in 1995.
Therefore, it can be clearly seen from the graph that the prices of oil, overall, rose rapidly and will go on rising in the future.
