1、staff作名词是全体员工、成员的总称,作动词是为...分派配置员工,显然这里是分配的意思,必须用动词的意义,所以用了动名词.另外,前面的from用了assignment（任务分配）,虽然是名词但表现的显然是一种动作,to后面当然也要跟动作的意思；
2、分词的平行对称中,不是过去分词必须对过去分词,现在分词对现在分词；过去分词与现在分词也算对称!这个特别要注意!这里,extend 是 fungus主动发出的动作,所以要用现在分词；
3、staff如第一题,是全体员工的意思.所以a large staff 就是“庞大的阵容”的意思,这是非常常见的说法.numbers of staff members 这种说法是很罗嗦的,肯定不对.关于对称,这里是money和staff对称,没问题的.
