因为引用字数限制的原因,只引用包含有疑问那句话的那一段,如下：The device is currently being tested in a 6-metre-tallartificial clay embankment in Newcastle2,UK.Early results suggest it shouldprovide fewer false positives than existing systems.Once it has been carefullyand thoroughly tested,the device could be used to create a completeearly-warning system for dangerous Slopes.“Early results suggest it shouldprovide fewer false positives than existing systems.”的教材翻译为：先期结果显示它比现有的仪器提供较少的判断误差.其中positives这个词我查字典了,它应该是个偏积极的词,不知道这句话里为什么会用这个词
另外补充问一点：还是那句话中,suggest有表明的意思我明白,但是从句中使用了should这个词,请问这是虚拟语气还是别的修饰方法?为什么要用这个词?
