Due to human activity, the world is becoming a harsher place to live in. Problems such are war and pollution plague each and every day, brought about by nothing else but our own greed.
War is one example of the many catastrophic things mankind have wrought on the planet. World War I and II left dozens of countries reeling on the verge of bankruptcy, and millions of people died or dying. Fortunately, some people have realised the follies that we've committed and are taking measures to stop war, like what Obama did for Iraq.
Air pollution is also starting to catch people's attention, as they realise with a start that humans need fresh air to breathe, and heavily polluted skies can actually kill. Which is why people are taking measures to contain that situation too. Looking on the bright side, it's not too late for making amends.
