Don't be so sure.这是一个祈使句的否定形式,这个句型的特点是don't 加动词原形.这里后面跟的是形容词,只能用be作为动词原形.
might在这里表示比较小的可能性,并非是真的过去.同理could也可以表示委婉语气,并非can 的过去式.如Could you show me the way,please?
be是动词,因为无动词可用,BE CAREUL是一样的道理,might的意义在后面We have this problem every year可以看出
