第一句：There are so many reference books( 1(on this romantic poet )2(for me to choose from ))that I can't make up my mind which 3(to choose).首先这是一个There be句型,其次这是一个so many...that...句型.括号1和2都是定语,修饰books.括号3也是定语,修饰which.然后括号2里面是一个倒装,fromm后面应该接宾语books,但books已经是there are的宾语,所以括号2只能把books倒装到前面.
第二句：
主要是定语从句,而且是非限定性定语从句.which may destroy his bright future是定语,用来修饰investigation.
