Initially, lackof funding may account for why some countries cannot recycle usedmaterials. For impoverished countries, what their governments needto focus on is to satisfy the basic needs of the public, such assufficient food supply, compulsory primary education and completemedical service. The input for these fields may take up the mostproportion of budgets of those governments, which incapacitates thefurther development of recycling industry. Without the financialsupport from governments, many enterprises are even impotent toafford the huge expense for purchasing advanced devices forrecycling.

Furthermore, the public probably lack awareness ofenvironmental protection. Currently, some owners of restaurantsstill choose to use one-off chopsticks and some shops still providecustomers with plastic bags but consumers will not refute them forthey do not realize the severe consequences. Also, it may beexaggerated to blame individuals for accepting one-off productsonce. All these phenomena lead to that most citizens may beambiguous in the necessity of recycling.

In orderto reserve this adverse tendency, governments need to take theinitiative to formulate and implement some environmental policiesand laws. Limitations should be imposed on enterprises that produceone-off materials in order to eliminate the detrimental effectsarisen from them. Subsequently, some subsidies could be given tothe sanitation system, which enables the city to deal with dailygarbage more efficiently and lays a foundation for recyclingindustry’s prosperity. Besides, it is also crucial for governmentsto raise the environmental awareness of citizens with morepromotion, such as increasing the amount of advertisements relatedto environmental protection and giving citizens guidance in primarygarbage classification in everyday life.

In sum,lacking budgets for developing recycling industry and an ambiguousunderstanding of citizens may lead to the fact that used materialscannot be recycled efficiently. To alter this situation,governments need to support the development of recycling industryand lead citizens to have a better understanding ofrecycling.

The best way to teach children to cooperate is through team sportsat school. To what extent do youagree or disagree?

Cooperation has strongly been advocated by many schools, possiblybecause good teamwork spiritis regarded as a shared trait amongsuccessful groups. It is believed that organizing children to doteam sports is the best way to teach cooperation. My view is thatteam sports are of great significance to the cultivation ofteamwork spirit, despite the fact that children can learn tocooperate through many other methods.

Team sports are well-known for its ability to improvechildren’steamwork spirit. In a team environment, members need to know how tocommunicate with each other and discuss strategies to beat rivals,which can prepare students for both the academic performance andcareer development. If there are no team activities provided forchildren, they may feel lonely and isolated from the outsideworld.Undoubtedly, introducing more team sports to children couldcultivate their cooperation spirit.

Another advantage of team sports is that it can encourage childrento obey team rules. When they are playing together, they have tofollow some certain instructions; otherwise activities or games maynot go smoothly. In addition, children are more likely to help eachother and realise the merits of others if they are occupiedwithteam sports.

Meanwhile, it should be admitted that team sports are not the onlyway to learn cooperation. If the team fails, children may blametheir teammates, which is harmful to both teamwork spirit and theirfriendship. Clearly, there are many other social activities thatcan improve children’scooperation,including singing in a chorus and participating inunpaid community service.

To sum up, team sports provide a good environment for children tocooperate and encourage them to follow instructions, although wehave to acknowledge that some other activities are also the methodsleading to teamwork spirit.
